RESUME WRITING WORKSHOP FOR FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

SERDANG - About 60 students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) participated in the Resume Writing Workshop on February 21, 2020. The program is a collaboration between the Career Counseling Section, Universiti Putra Malaysia Counseling Division (BKUPM) and The Student Association of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (ComSSA), located in the FSKTM Main Lecture Hall.

Main purpose of The Resume Writing Workshop is to provide further exposure and clarification on how to write a resume that meets current industry requirements. A resume is a brief introduction to someone who is a reference for an employer to evaluate.

The essence of the workshop is to include, the latest types of resumes, the essentials of the resume, the tips for writing the resume according to the advantages of the student, the procedure for submitting the resume and the accompanying cover letter.

The impact of implementing this program to the university will indirectly help improve the marketability of graduates. In addition, to the participants, the knowledge learned can produce a quality resume and ultimately capture the heart of the employer.
