Its Common Stress

In our lives, stress is normal and can happen to everyone. We need stress as a stimulant. This is because stress is divided into two which are eustress and distress. Eustress is a type of stress that builds and motivates and the individual can adapt to the stress. Meanwhile, distress is a type of stress where the individual who experienced it could not adapt to the stress and can destroy themselves when it is not overcome. When we can’t navigate through stress, we will be burdened by it. 

 

When we’re talking about stress, everyone has faced it. Before we go further, allow me to share a brief definition of stress with the readers. Definition of stress refers to pressure, load, fatigue, tension and loss of will. Stress is the inability to fulfill the demands of the environment which cause life disturbances. As a whole, the individual experiences stress, emotions, thoughts and behaviour that does not align. As students, when experiencing stress, they can’t pay attention to their lessons and they can’t think rationally. Their bodies will become weak and tired.

 

When this happens, their daily work will be disturbed or they won't be able to attend lectures. Therefore, for good mental health, we must try to manage and overcome stress in a way that is effective and suitable for us. Before finding a way to manage stress, allow me to share a few positive words that will help give you motivation, support and relieve your stress.
