Mental Health Care Tips

Taking care of mental health is just as important as physical health because it involves aspects of behavioral, emotional and spiritual well-being in the individual that affects the well-being of life and a person's relationship with others.

Here are some tips that can be used to ensure your mental health is always awake.

1. Share
You can share your feelings with trusted people such as family members and close friends to reduce stress or sadness that may affect mental health.

In addition, asking for help from professionals such as counselors is also a mental care step to get further treatment and/or get advice and tips for perfect mental care.

2. Avoid
Refrain from taking prohibited substances such as drugs, alcohol and smoking which must be known to have adverse implications on physical and mental health.

3. Select
You need to choose healthy food wisely. A person's daily diet greatly affects mental health as well as physical health. The easiest step is to ensure water intake of 6 to 8 glasses a day. In addition, protein sources such as beans, fish, eggs and meat and consumption of vegetables and fruits should be included in the diet of each individual every day to obtain sufficient nutrition.

4. Do it
Physical activity and leisure or beneficial hobbies can help you maintain good mental health. Exercising doesn't necessarily have to go to the gym. You can only do simple activities such as walking, climbing stairs, playing ball and doing homework.

5. Contact
Frequent contact with loved ones such as family members and friends can reduce stress and share positive words with each other. with this, you can also feel more appreciated!

6. Smart
Wisely managing time effectively can reduce your stress level. This is because organized work results are more quality and productive. You will also be spared the problem of delayed work.

7. Get it
Get enough rest and sleep. Without enough rest, the body cannot function perfectly including the brain and mental health.

Take steps to ensure you get enough sleep such as cutting back on caffeine and going to bed and waking up at the same time each day.

8. Worship
If you experience pressure or stress, you can perform worship such as chanting and praying according to your religion and belief. Worship can also provide emotional relief and can relieve your feelings.
