UPM SERDANG, 27 May - Bahagian Kaunseling UPM in collaboration with Fakulti Pengajian Pendidikan UPM successfully organised the Academic Tour@Master FPP programme on 24 June 2026 at the Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The programme, held from 8.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., involved the participation of 25 students as the main target group for academic intervention and student well-being support.

The programme was designed to provide students with exposure to effective and systematic academic management through a structured and well-developed module approach. In addition, it aimed to enhance students’ motivation and academic performance, enabling them to better navigate the challenges of postgraduate studies in a more focused and organised manner.

Throughout the session, participants were introduced to effective learning strategies, including academic planning, time management, and consistent self-directed learning techniques. Group coaching sessions with trained counsellors were also conducted to create an interactive and supportive space for academic development.

The programme also emphasised the establishment of a continuous academic and mental well-being support system throughout the semester. Through ongoing coaching and sharing sessions, students were encouraged to build emotional resilience and self-confidence in managing academic stress at the higher education level.

The outcomes of the programme showed positive impact, with participants demonstrating improved understanding and skills in structured academic management. In addition, there was a noticeable increase in students’ motivation levels and academic performance following their participation.

Overall, the Academic Tour@Master FPP successfully achieved its objectives in strengthening academic support and student well-being through continuous group coaching, contributing to the development of more resilient, motivated, and well-balanced postgraduate students.
