UPM Serdang, May 23 - This AKRAB Strengthening Course is an annual program for UPM AKRAB members. The organization of this course as an addition and improvement of existing or new knowledge and skills for AKRAB members. This course was successfully implemented on 19 May 2023, Friday from 8.30 AM until 12.30 PM which is located the Auditorium, UPM Counseling Division. A total of 31 AKRAB members, 4 BKUPM Psychology Officers and an Industrial Training Student at BKUPM and a Massage Therapist were involved in this course.

The Strengthening Course Series I is entitled Corporate Massage Therapy. The choice of this course is as exposure and new knowledge for AKRAB members. Among the things learned from this course are the types of massage and how simple and practical massage methods are to help those who are under stress. This partnership was delivered by a solid partnership from Mr. Mohd Redzuan Zamberi (Senior Psychological Officer, UPM Counseling Division) and Mr. Zainal Abidin Shaari (UPM AKRAB) from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and assisted by the facilitator Mrs. Izwana Ismail (Psychological Officer, Division UPM Counseling) and Mrs. Norarsikin Abu Hassan (Massage Therapist).

The impact of the program is to give additional skills to AKRAB members to be applied on the spot and for UPM employees and with a course like this to be able to build a network among AKRAB members.

UPM Counselor Officer, Mrs. Noorihayatti binti Noorudin as the AKRAB Coordinator stated "Thank God, the AKRAB Strengthening Course entitled Corporate Massage has been successfully implemented. I am very grateful for the commitment and support from the AKRAB members who are very encouraging. As a saving measure for the university, this time we request AKRAB members to prepare food together in a potluck. Through this course we can also build bonding among AKRAB members. See you again at the upcoming AKRAB strengthening course".
