UPM SERDANG, March 3 – The UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) has launched the Love My Personality Career (LMPC) Campaign, an initiative aimed at helping students understand their personalities and choose the right career path.

The campaign was held across three roadshows on February 13, 19 and 28 2025, with 207 students participating in career counseling services.

Led by the Career Planning Unit under the guidance of Puan Anis Akmilah binti Mat Hassan, the primary goal of this program is to assist Foundation in Science students at UPM, who are in the process of selecting their academic programs for undergraduate studies in October 2025.

Through this campaign, students were exposed to the importance of recognizing their personalities and how these traits influence their career choices. Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to receive individual and group counseling from experienced counselors at the UPM Counseling Division.

Services offered included career counseling, personality assessments, and guidance on choosing suitable fields of study based on their interests and capabilities. The Director of the Foundation in Science Center expressed appreciation for the efforts of the UPM Counseling Division.

“We are very grateful to the UPM Counseling Division for this initiative, which greatly helps our students make important decisions about their academic and career futures,” he said. It is hoped that the campaign will provide useful information and guidance, empowering students to make more confident and informed decisions in planning their academic and professional futures.
