UPM Serdang, 3 April - This program is an initiative of the Student Counseling Section in collaboration with the UPM Student Friend Club to provide exposure to students about effective facilitator skills. The program will be held on 18 March 2023 (Saturday) starting at 10.00 AM until 5.00 PM. The program is implemented online through the Google Meet Application. A total of 476 UPM students are involved in this program.

The Basic Training of Facilitators program is a program that provides training in facilitator skills and helping skills to improve students' soft skills. Through this program, individuals will be able to train themselves with the right techniques and applications to become facilitators or peer mentors and manage a group or organization wisely.

The impact of the program is to provide facilitator training to students to help friends provide guidance services to friends who need emotional and social support.

UPM Counselor Officer, Puan Kemelia Omar as program coordinator stated "Alhamdulillah, thank Allah S.W.T. for His blessings that the BTOF 2023 program went smoothly as planned and it received a very encouraging response from the students. Hopefully all the knowledge learned through this program can be applied in helping friends -a friend in need.
