BKUPM Launches PUTRA-Wellness Tracker Application & Career Direction Book to Deal With Mental Health Issue & CareerHEALTH AND CAREER ISSUES

UPM SERDANG, Oct 21th – The UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) has launched the Putra-Wellness Tracker application and Career Guidance Book in conjunction with the 2022 National Youth Counseling Seminar.

The Putra Wellness Tracker application and Career Guidance Book were launched by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Principals, Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Prof. Assoc. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor and also witnessed by the Director of the Board of Counselors Malaysia, Prof. Associate Dr. Wan Marzuki Wan Jaafar, Head of UPM's Counseling Division, Dr. Mazila Ghazali and nearly 5500 participants consisting of students, staff and community from all over Malaysia physically and virtually.

Within the ceremony, Prof. Assoc. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor shared about the importance of the Putra Wellness Tracker application and also the Career Guidance Book to the people of Universiti Putra Malaysia and the community in dealing with issues related to mental health and career development.

The Putra Wellness Tracker application is a part of  innovation built by UPM's Counseling Division to monitor user progress of wellness. This application emphasizes the user to practice the important elements in the well-being of life. In accordance with the lifestyle of today's technology-savvy youth, this application is expected to provide benefits and awareness to users about the importance of taking care of one's well-being holistically.

Not only that, BKUPM also launched the book Halatuju Kerjaya UPM which is the result of the initiative of the Career Counseling Section, UPM's Counseling Division which acts as a guide in the individual process of building a career. This book contains career stories that can provide benefits in terms of job information and inspiration not only to UPM students and employees but also to the community.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Principals, YBhg. Associate Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor also called for all students to take advantage of the services provided by the UPM Counseling Division to take care of their mental health and well-being holistically.
