SERDANG, April 30 - The UPM Mega Aidilfitri Celebration 2025, organized by the Counseling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM) in collaboration with the Welfare and Recreation Club (KKR) BKUPM, took place on April 24, 2025 (Thursday) in a lively, joyful, and family-oriented atmosphere. The event, held at the BKUPM Auditorium, became a gathering platform for the BKUPM community to reconnect, strengthen ties, and share the joy of Syawal after a month of fasting.

As early as 10:00 AM, guests began to arrive in a variety of colorful and stylish Raya attire, adding to the festive ambiance. The event commenced with opening remarks from Mr. Shafiq, Chairman of KKR, followed by a Raya greeting from Dr. Mazila, Head of the BKUPM Division, who emphasized the importance of unity, togetherness, and gratitude for the opportunity to gather.

An exciting feature of this year’s event was the "potluck" dining concept, where the menu items had creative names. The BKUPM community brought a variety of homemade dishes, including jars of Raya cookies. Some of the unique and delightful dishes served included "Kuih Koci Meriam", "Kole Le’ Kacang", "Sup Kambing Gengam Jiwa Padu", "Spaghetti Bolo-licious Raya Edition", "Air Soda Liku Bayu Pudina", and many others. The main dish prepared by the organizers was "Mee Kari". The event was met with an overwhelming response from attendees, including staff and students. The presence of traditional food added a nostalgic touch and festive spirit, making the atmosphere warm and relaxed.

The event was also enlivened with a photo session, followed by a meal where guests were invited to enjoy the delicious dishes. The fun continued with various Raya-themed games and activities, such as "Tarik Tali Duit Raya", which reflected the spirit of giving and sharing blessings among colleagues, "Teka Emoji/Kuih Raya", and "Group Karaoke Raya". Laughter, cheers, and the singing of Raya songs by BKUPM staff filled the air, making the day extra special for everyone present.

The event concluded at approximately 4:00 PM with a sense of satisfaction and joy. The BKUPM Aidilfitri Celebration 2025 was not just an annual gathering, but an important platform that fosters values of unity, cooperation, and mutual respect among colleagues. It proved that the celebration of Aidilfitri is not just about food and entertainment, but about appreciating the people around us.
