SERDANG, 27 June - UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) roadshow in conjunction with the Health and Wellness Outreach Programme. On 27 June 2024 (Thursday), all psychology officers and trainee counselors of BKUPM have been invited to work together with the organizers of the University Health Center (PKU) to make the "HEALTH AND WELLNESS OUTREACH PROGRAMME" a success. This program was implemented from 9 am to 5 pm. The location of the program is around the registration office, Faculty of Agriculture.

This program is a PKU initiative to provide a platform for all UPM staff and students to check their physical health and mental well-being. The purpose of BKUPM opening a booth at this program is to provide accessibility for program participants to undergo a mental health examination and identify program participants who need early mental health assistance and provide appropriate assistance

The interesting activities carried out were 'My Emotion Today', answering the Dass-21 healthy mind screening test and emotional psychology test - ""Blob Tree''. The 'My Emotion Today' activity gives staff or students the opportunity to express their feelings by putting stickers on the emotion in question. The activity of answering the Dass-21 healthy mind screening test provides an opportunity for staff or students participating in this program to know their level of depression, anxiety and stress. Emotional psychology testing activity - 'Blob Tree' gives staff or students participating in this program the opportunity to identify their current and future emotions and personality traits by choosing from 21 blob diagrams on a tree.

This program was joined by a total of 35 participants with fun and enthusiasm. BKUPM will continue to go out in the field to give opportunities to UPM staff or students to check and take care of their mental and emotional well-being. Hopefully this kind of program will always open space for BKUPM to help all UPM citizens in need.
