SERDANG, June 26 – The Career Counseling Section of the Counseling Division, Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM), was invited to participate in the Engineering Career Development Day organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The program took place on Thursday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lobby Area, Faculty of Engineering, UPM.

The event aimed to provide students with early exposure to career opportunities in the engineering field while helping them build professional networks with external organizations.
As one of the key highlights, BKUPM set up a career booth offering various career guidance services to students. These included resume reviews, mock interview sessions, and individual consultations focused on career planning. The booth received an enthusiastic response, particularly from final-year students preparing to enter the job market.
The program also featured participation from 10 major organizations, representing various branches of engineering such as civil, mechanical, chemical, and electrical. Their presence not only offered students valuable insights into career pathways within the industry but also included open interview sessions for potential candidates.
According to Dr. Hazwan, a representative of the organizing committee, he expressed openness to continued collaboration with the counseling team to provide comprehensive support for students. “We truly welcome the role of counseling services in helping students prepare mentally and physically to face the challenges of the working world,” he said.
Through this active involvement, BKUPM continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the career development of UPM students and to advancing the university's aspiration of producing competitive, industry-ready graduates prepared to face real-world challenges.
