UPM Serdang, September 27 - The Maulidur Rasul Celebration and the Third Quarter Birthday Event for the UPM Counseling Department is a periodic activity organized by the Welfare and Recreation Club (KKR) to appreciate and strengthen friendships among club members. This initiative provides a great opportunity for members to boost team motivation and celebrate birthdays quarterly.

The event took place on September 18, 2024, Wednesday, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the UPM Counseling Department Auditorium and Palm's Cafe, Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya. Thirteen staff members attended, starting with a prayer and a casual speech by KKR President, Mr. Shafiq Mahadi, followed by a speech from the Head of Department, Dr. Mazila Ghazali. In conjunction with the blessed Maulidur Rasul on September 16, 2024, members and KKR executives also honored the Prophet Muhammad SAW during this event, hoping for His great intercession in the hereafter.

The event also celebrated the birthdays of UPM BK staff for the third quarter, from July to September 2024, including Mr. Fariz, Puan Ayna, Dr. Mazila, Puan Kemelia, Mr. Haironizam, and Puan Kamariah. Additionally, activities included presenting gifts to the celebrated staff, awards for the 'king' and 'queen' won by Mr. Haniff and Puan Noorihayatti, and compassionate contributions to two staff members, Mr. Fariz for his wedding on May 26, 2024, and Mr. Shafiq for minor surgery on June 18, 2024. A token gift of a motivational quote picture frame was presented to Mr. Haniff, who will continue his PhD studies at Universiti Malaya starting September 30, 2024, along with heartfelt wishes for his success. The event concluded with a lunch buffet at Palm's Cafe, Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya.

This truly memorable occasion will be cherished by the staff of BKUPM.
