UPM Serdang, 28 April - Cemerlang Individu Cemerlang Organisasi (C.I.C.O) UPM Program is a program collaboration with various Responsibility Centers (PTJ) in UPM to provide mental health care awareness to UPM employees. Usually the program is conducted at selected PTJ in an agreed location. For this time, the program was conducted at UPM's Counseling Division to facilitate group guidance activities conducted by Psychological Officers. In this program, 3 counselors namely Mr. Mohamad Ashaari bin Awab, Mrs. Kamariah binti Derasol, Mrs. Noorihayatti binti Nooruddin and Ms. Nur'ain A'qilah binti Ali (counselor trainees) conduct guidance groups, guide mental health screening and care for psychological and personal well-being .

This program takes place on 10 April 2023 starting at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the UPM Counseling Department. This program is conducted to provide knowledge to employees of the Occupational Safety and Health Management Office about the importance of mental health care. Participants also have the opportunity to know the level of stress, depression and anxiety with the application provided on the website of the counseling department. This application is a green initiative that reduces the use of paper for mental health screening.

The participation of participants is a total of 20 officers and implementers from the Occupational Safety and Health Management Office. Three counselors and one trainee counselor. The impact of this program can establish cooperation between PTJ in promoting mental health care and holistic well-being to the employees of Universiti Putra Malaysia.

UPM Counselor Officer, Puan Kamariah Derasol as the program coordinator welcomes the cooperation from the responsibility center at UPM for the organization of this CICO program. By organizing this program, the UPM Counseling Division can also extend its services to UPM employees who find it difficult to leave their respective offices due to work demands.
