UPM Serdang, 21 December - Putra FM's Cit Cat program is an hour-long program with a counselor that is held every month. The topic covered in December is very interesting and has the title Let's Detox Stress, 10 Simple Steps! which is an initiative of the UPM Counseling Division to share with all Putra FM listeners.
Sharing this time is the knowledge to control stress and detox aspects that can be done directly according to the correct method as presented by Mr. Muhammad Za'im bin Rosli on December 5, 2023 from 12.00 noon until 1 pm. This sharing is carried out through the platform by watching on the official Facebook social media page of the UPM Counseling Department (https://www.facebook.com/bkupm) or listening on the airspace of the UPM campus radio station at FM Frequency 90.7 MHz (Around Seri Kembangan) which can reached on the Putra FM website (http://www.putrafm.upm.edu.my) or download Tunein Radio: Online Stations.
This program shares about detox stress by explaining 10 simple steps to get rid of stress to all listeners of various ages that stress also has positive and negative levels. Positive stress such as students getting success from tests and exams, employees being able to achieve KPIs at work and it will provide continuity of good stress. Negative stress is like toxic and it is dangerous because if it is not dealt with properly it can become a conflict, if it is not managed well it can also become pre-trauma or pre-traumatic stress disorder, and if it still cannot be managed properly it is feared that it will become a health problem lasting psychology to students, employees, or community groups.
In relation to that, participants can take this knowledge and anyone who has not yet practiced in life such as smiling, eating can start every day, including breathing correctly. Next, aspects of nutrition, sleep, and exercise such as traveling hours every day. If all this can be done correctly, it will have a good effect on the preservation of the well-being of all of us.
Puan Wan Azurani binti Wan Ahmad as the organizer of the program stated "Grateful that the one hour program with the counselors was able to run smoothly and received a good commitment from all the counselors and hopefully the knowledge shared can be put into practice in our daily lives. Hopefully this program can continue with a variety of interesting topics and receive encouragement among listeners from UPM citizens and the local community.
