SERDANG, 12 December - The Counseling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM) is set to close the year 2025 with a special program, “CIT CAT Putra FM with the Counselor: Best Bekerja!”, which marks the final episode (12th in the series) of the annual counseling program. The event is scheduled for 16 December 2025 (Tuesday), from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., broadcast live on Putra FM 90.7 MHz and online streaming platforms.

The program features Dr. Ansarul Haq bin Tahrir Adli, a Professional Counselor from UPM’s Counseling Division, who will share practical and psychological strategies to make work more enjoyable and fulfilling. According to Dr. Ansarul, many employees currently face stress and fatigue due to monotonous work routines, which can lead to burnout. “This session will explore the true meaning of ‘Best Bekerja,’ identify early signs of declining job satisfaction, and provide practical strategies to restore fulfillment at work,” he said.

The program also emphasizes psychological factors that influence employee happiness and the role of organizations and employers in ensuring employees feel valued and motivated. Common challenges addressed include lack of recognition, continuous work pressure, and loss of work-life balance.

The event is open to all Putra FM listeners, UPM staff and students, and members of the public who are interested in participating either in-person or via online streaming. The session can be followed through UPM Counseling Division’s Facebook Live, Putra FM Facebook Live, or streaming on the Putra FM website.

As the year-end closing episode, the program is expected to provide inspiration and practical guidance for all employees to maintain satisfaction and motivation in their work. Through an interactive approach, the session not only provides valuable insights but also creates opportunities for UPM staff, students, and listeners to cultivate a more enjoyable work experience.
