COUNSELORS LAUNCH PUTRA-WELLNESS TRACKER APPLICATION AND CAREER DIRECTION BOOK TO DEAL WITH MENTAL HEALTH AND CAREER ISSUES

UPM SERDANG, OCT 21th – The UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) has launched the Putra-Wellness Tracker application and Career Guidance Book in conjunction with the 2022 National Youth Counseling Seminar. 

 

The Putra Wellness Tracker application and Career Guidebook were launched by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Principals, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), YBhg. Prof. Assoc. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor and also witnessed by the Director of the Board of Counselors Malaysia, Prof. Associate Dr. Wan Marzuki, Head of UPM's Counseling Division, Dr. Mazila binti Ghazali and nearly 5500 participants consisting of students, staff and community from all over Malaysia physically and virtually.

 

In the launch ceremony, Dr. Ahmad Shukri said that Putra Wellness Tracker application and the Career Guidance Book are very important for UPM citizens and the community in dealing with issues related to mental health and career knowledge. 

 

BKUPM produced the Putra Wellness Application to make it easier for users to monitor their personal development. This application emphasizes the user to practice the important elements in the well-being of life. In accordance with the lifestyle of today's technology-savvy youth, this application is expected to provide benefits and awareness to users about the importance of taking care of one's well-being holistically. Not only that, the production of the UPM Career Guidance book which is the result of the initiative of the Career Counseling Section, UPM's Counseling Division which plays a role in guiding the career development process. This book contains career stories that can provide benefits in terms of job information and inspiration not only to UPM students and employees but also to the community.

 

Dr. Ahmad Shukri once again called for all students to take advantage of the services provided by the UPM Counseling Division in order to take care of their mental health and well-being holistically.
