UPM Serdang, 3 July - The Second Quarter Birthday Celebration and Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony of the UPM Counseling Division is a regular activity carried out by the Welfare and Recreation Club to appreciate and strengthen the friendship between club members. This activity is a very good initiative in giving space to club members to increase the motivation of team work and to celebrate the birth of club members quarterly.

This ceremony will be held on 27 June 2023, Tuesday from 9.00 am until 11.00 am at the UPM Counseling Division Auditorium. The activity carried out in this ceremony was the recitation of thanksgiving prayers delivered by UPM's Psychology Officer, Encik Mohamad Za'im bin Rosli, a casual speech by the Head of the Division, Dr. Mazila binti Ghazali, a meal with the concept of 'Potluck', birthday celebration, giving gifts and souvenirs themed 'Sacrifice'.

This event held a birthday celebration for Mr. Haniff bin Abdullah Hashim, Mrs. Wan Azurani binti Wan Ahmad and Mrs. Izwana binti Ismail. 'Sacrifice' themed souvenirs were given to all club members, trainee counselors and cleaners at the UPM Counseling Division. A total of 21 members of the UPM Counseling Division were also involved in making this event a success. The impact of this program is to create a feeling of happiness and love for all members of the UPM Counseling Division.

Puan Syarifah Sheril Azlin binti Syed Baharin as a UPM Counselor, representative of the Welfare and Recreation Club of the UPM Counseling Division stated "hopefully with such an event it can strengthen the consensus and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between us".
