SERDANG, 29 July - The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Benchmarking (EKSA) visit by the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Counseling Division to the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (UPM PSAS) was held on 17 July 2024 (Wednesday) from 10.00am until 12.30pm . This visit aims to directly see the implementation of EKSA at UPM's PSAS as a benchmark for obtaining EKSA certification at UPM's Counseling Division.

This visit was welcomed by PSAS chaired by Puan Haslawati Maamor as EKSA PSAS UPM Chairperson. A briefing on the implementation of EKSA was delivered by Urus Setia and was followed by a visit to the office space and selected outdoor areas, namely the rest room, archive, 2nd floor and the PSAS herbal site as an example. This visit was attended by 15 people from BKUPM and also a team from the UPM Agricultural Foundation Center in the session.

At the end of this benchmark visit, the PSAS UPM team expressed their gratitude to the officers who attended and hoped that the partnership that had been delivered would achieve the goals and plans of the UPM Counseling Division to obtain EKSA certification in the future.

As the PSAS EKSA Coordinator, Mrs. Nurul Aini Mokthar stated that she has plans to visit the UPM Counseling Division later and she hopes to exchange ideas on improving the implementation of EKSA in their respective centers of responsibility.

The EKSA Executive Committee of the UPM Counseling Division hopes that this benchmark visit can benefit the members of the UPM Counseling Division for the sharing of knowledge from the UPM PSAS and that the strengthening of EKSA can continue along with lifting the UPM EKSA Commitment Statement in support of the UPM EKSA Vision, Mission, and Objectives.
