UPM Serdang, 18 July - The implementation of EKSA, known as the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem, is no stranger to carrying out responsibilities by all members of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Recently, the UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) held an Internal Audit at the UPM Counseling Division Level for one day with a specially invited auditor, Miss Pavithra A/P Panir Selvam from the School of Graduate Studies (SPS) as the UPM EKSA Facilitator.

The Internal Audit Inspection began with a briefing by the EKSA Coordinator, BKUPM, Mrs. Ayna Marliana binti Mohamad Sari on the background of EKSA implementation at BKUPM. The Audit Inspection this time focuses on the space zone that has been taken after the self-inspection that is carried out periodically. All spaces at BKUPM are divided into five (5) Zones, namely Rogers Zone, Ellis Zone, Glasser Zone, Holland Zone and Al-Ghazali Zone.

The involvement in the implementation of this Audit was attended by all BKUPM members, namely 18 Officers and Staff as well as two (2) Industrial Training students and an EKSA Internal Auditor, Miss Pavithra A/P Panir Selvam. The involvement of External Auditors in the implementation of this internal audit can help to be an eye for BKUPM citizens to improve the process, organize and tidy up that has been carried out. Apart from that, it became a benchmark for EKSA zone leaders to improve the areas under their responsibility.

According to Mrs. Anis Akmilah as the Head of Audit of the EKSA Implementation Committee, "even though it is only an internal audit, we need an external auditor to assess the level of implementation of EKSA here. This is because as BKUPM citizens, we feel that we have done our best but may miss some things considering that the situation here has become a habit".
