UPM Serdang - A total of 10 disabled students attended the Career Group Guidance which was organized by the Career Counseling Section last September 16th. The program was held through the BKUPM Zoom Application. This Group Guidance Session was conducted by Puan Syarifah Sheril Azlin Syed Baharin as the group leader and Mr. Danial Fikri as the assistant group leader.

Throughout this guidance session, various career issues were discussed, particularly career prospects for those in the category of Persons with Disabilities (OKU). Each member of the group is very open to discuss career planning as well as building strategies in their respective career development. Through this guidance session as well, each group member has the opportunity to answer a career building questionnaire which is adapted from a questionnaire built by career expert Mark Savickas (2018).

As a result of the results of the questionnaire scores, group members have discussed together to provide benefits to all members and they are able to build a better career after this. The results of the questionnaire scores are divided into four sub-dominants, namely personality and self formation, career exploration, career decision making and career planning and preparation. The guidance of the group went smoothly for 2 hours. The participants also hope that this guidance session can be held in the future.
