SERDANG, December 26 - The Counseling Division of UPM once again demonstrated its commitment to the emotional well-being of students by organizing the "Healing With Us: Balance of Lifestyle" program. The program took place on December 6, 2024, Friday, starting at 9:30 AM, and involved the participation of 43 students in person. The program was held in the Counseling Division Building, with the activities taking place in various locations: the Auditorium for clay therapy, Discussion Room 2 for art therapy, and the Meeting Room, along with areas surrounding the Counseling Division Building for photography art therapy.

The main objective of this program was to introduce effective therapeutic methods to help students achieve a balanced lifestyle. Three interesting therapy sessions were held, namely Art Therapy, Clay Therapy, and Photography Art Therapy. These activities provided students with the opportunity to express emotions, discover themselves, and improve their ability to cope with life's pressures through creative and reflective approaches.

The therapy sessions were conducted by experienced counselors from the UPM Counseling Division, namely Mrs. Noorihayatti, Mrs. Kamariah, and Mrs. Anis Akmilah. With their expertise, the participants were guided deeply in each therapy session. Art therapy helped participants express themselves through painting, clay therapy provided the chance to experience painting and shaping, while photography art therapy encouraged new perspectives on life through the lens of a camera.

The program received positive feedback from the participants, who described the activities as an important step toward improving mental and emotional well-being. Furthermore, it served as a platform for students to learn how to overcome stress and lead a more harmonious life.

With the success of this program, the UPM Counseling Division remains committed to raising awareness and promoting the emotional well-being of the campus community, fostering a healthy and balanced lifestyle for a higher quality of life.
