SERDANG, 27 October – The Counselling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM) conducted a presentation session on the Implementation Report of the Digital Psychological Health Profiling System for Public Service Officers (MyPsyD) 2024/2025 with the Registrar of UPM on 30 September 2025, held at the Registrar’s Meeting Room, Canselori Building.

The session aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the psychological health status of university staff and to identify strategies for enhancing psychosocial support in the workplace.

The presentation was attended by UPM Registrar, YBrs. Mr. Muhazam Mansor, along with the Mental Health Section Team of BKUPM, comprising Mrs. Wan Azurani, Mrs. Noorihayatti, and Mrs. Kemelia. The report focused on screening results conducted from May 2024 to 31 May 2025, followed by a validation process from 16 June to 31 August 2025.

According to Mrs. Noorihayatti, the session aimed to share key findings on staff psychological health, including risk level assessments and insights obtained through the validation process carried out by UPM’s psychological officers. The validation exercise also involved collaboration with officers from the Counselling Division, Registrar’s Office, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital, and UPM Sarawak.

In his remarks, Mr. Muhazam Mansor emphasized that the university management remains committed to prioritizing psychological well-being as a key element in fostering a positive and supportive work environment. He also encouraged that the findings of this report be used as a foundation for developing more effective policies and psychosocial support programs.

The session concluded with an open discussion on proposed long-term intervention programs and continuous monitoring initiatives to ensure that the psychological health of university staff remains at an optimal level.
