PCP as BKUPM's Initiative Guide the ASASI Students

Serdang, Feb 7th  - A total of 799 participants with the objective to help students understand more about themselves (interests, personality, skills and strengths) and help students find out the harmony of their career interests and the work environment that suits them. In addition, this PCP program also helps students to gain common sense in making decisions in the selection of courses offered at Universiti Putra Malaysia based on the results obtained and further helps students to plan their chosen career in the future.

This program is an initiative program of the Career Counseling Section to provide guidance and information regarding planning in course selection at the Bachelor's Level. UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) has organized the Putra Career Planning (PCP) 2.0 career planning program in 2023 in collaboration with the UPM Agricultural Science Foundation Center. The PCP program is one of the special programs for students of UPM's Basic Agricultural Sciences Center (ASPER).

This program is held physically at Tan Sri Aisyah Ghani College Hall (KTAG) in series with the concept, a counselor delivers a talk and students will be divided into several counselors for group counseling/guidance to students.

Through this program, it is hoped to continue efforts to continuously provide guidance and information to ASPER UPM Students, especially about the importance of making career plans from the beginning before continuing to Bachelor's or related studies. This program is also expected to give students the wisdom to choose majors that match their interests and personal strengths in order to achieve maximum harmony between career interests and the work environment so as to trigger the satisfaction and enjoyment of work that will be experienced in the future.- UPM.
