SERDANG, 31 July 2024 - The Counseling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM) has been invited to collaborate with the UPM Science Foundation Center for the Putra Mental Health Program 2024 Series 1. This slot is one of the important fillings where students need to answer a mental health screening to find out their level of mental health and at the same time counselors share about the importance of taking care of mental health.

This program has been planned to be held in 2024 by looking at the current situation that mental health is important to all. The main goal of this program is to increase students' awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining good mental health and getting early treatment for those who are related. Students will answer DASS 21 to find out their level of mental health.

This program involved 700 participants and was held physically. This program successfully achieved the objective of helping to assess the mental health level of the new students of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Science Center by answering the DASS 21 and they also need to be prepared in terms of personal and physical health to continue the intense academic session before continuing their studies to the degree level. Students also get concise and concise information about stress, anxiety and depression and what they need to do if they encounter such things.

Through this program, it is hoped that Universiti Putra Malaysia's Basic Science students will be better prepared physically, mentally and emotionally to continue their studies at UPM and successfully complete the basic science program for one year before moving on to the next level, which is the degree level.
