Serdang, Jan 19th - A total of 80 participants participated in the Putra Career Be Ready Program through an online talk approach. The Career Counseling Section of BKUPM has taken the initiative to implement such a program when seeing the current situation that students' self-preparation is also important before undergoing Industrial Training in their respective fields.

The main objective of the implementation of the Be Ready program is to help students understand more about themselves, which is related to their interests, personality, skills, and strengths. In addition, students are also helped to improve communication skills, emotional management, and self-image before undergoing industrial training. Students also need to be emotionally, physically, and mentally prepared before being in a real job situation.

This time, the UPM Counseling Division (BKUPM) collaborated with the UPM Faculty of Computer Science and Technology as the initiator of the implementation of the Putra Career Be Ready program. This program focuses specifically on final year students only. The basis of program implementation in order to be able to provide guidance and information regarding planning and self-preparation before students undergo industrial training for one semester.

Through this program, it is hoped that students can prepare themselves physically and mentally before undergoing industrial training, as well as giving students the knowledge to choose a career that matches their interests and personal strengths in order to achieve maximum job satisfaction regarding the harmony between career interests and the work environment so that can trigger the satisfaction and pleasure of working that will be met later.- UPM.
