PUTRA MOTIVATION ACHIEVE GOALS

SERDANG, May 31 - The Series 1/2024 Putra Motivation Program titled 'Ketahui Hak Dalam Perkahwinan' has successfully received enthusiastic participation from UPM employees. This program took place on 9 May 2024 from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm at the UPM Counseling Division Auditorium. Program ii is organized by the Self-Development Section, UPM Counseling Division.

The program started with a prayer by Ustaz Mohamad Azim bin Khairul Amir from the Islamic Center of UPM. Next, program coordinator Mrs. Kamariah Derasol welcomed the speakers and the participants.

A total of 120 participants consisting of Academic Officers, Non-Academic Officers and Executives have attended this program. The organizers also broadcast this program on facebook live and got over 1,100 views.

The guest speaker is Yang Arif Tuan Hj. Azmi bin Ibrahim is a former Judge of the Malacca Syariah High Court who has extensive experience in the field of law and has handled many cases related to marriage and family issues.

This program is conducted to provide opportunities for campus residents to gain knowledge and exposure regarding the rights in marriage for women and men.
With a clear knowledge of the rights enshrined in the law, will be able to avoid misunderstanding, misbehavior, cruelty and ignorance.
The participants were also given space to interact and ask questions to the speaker. This opportunity is best utilized and participants actively ask questions to increase understanding for themselves and other attendees.

The closing ceremony was graced with the presentation of appreciation souvenirs from the UPM Counseling Division which was presented by Mrs. Kamariah Derasol as the program coordinator to Mr. Haji Azmi b. Ibrahim, a speaker with high knowledge and good manners. He also volunteered to come back to UPM to help UPM employees learn more about men's rights in future partnerships for free.

The program ends with a photography session to capture the memory and documentation of BKUPM activities. Hopefully UPM residents will benefit and always support the program organized by the UPM Counseling Division.
