PWC Gets Over 37K Views

SERDANG: The Counseling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BKUPM) in collaboration with Kelab Rakan Siswa (KRS) has organized the Putra Wellness Carnival (PWC) Program specifically for UPM residents. The program took place from 5 to 18 April 2021. The method of the program is according to the new norm, which is online through Zoom Application, Facebook Live and Instagram.

The program is held to provide awareness, benefits and suitability of counseling as an alternative to all and the importance of maintaining mental health. In addition, the program also exposes students to the importance of human capital that meets the key components of the job market as well as providing the characteristics needed by organizations to meet the Industrial Revolution (IR4).

In addition, provide additional knowledge to UPM's Counsellors through participation and be able to share knowledge to UPM staff later.

The program began with a welcome speech from Mr. Mohamad Ashaari Awab who is the Director of the PWC Program and was officiated by YBhg. Dr. Mazila Ghazali as the Head of UPM Counseling Division. Also present were UPM Psychology Officers, Student Friends Club Members, UPM residents and the community.

A total of 37,627 spectators participated in the program through Facebook Live and Instagram while the participation through Zoom Application was 5,376 people consisting of 3,967 students, 1,165 employees and 244 communities.

A total of 9 slots were implemented with a selection of very interesting topics as well as guest speakers who were sure to mesmerize the participants.
