UPM Serdang, 27 April - This program is an initiative of the Employee Counseling Section with the cooperation of all members of the UPM Counseling Section to promote a culture of reading and love of knowledge. It is also in line with the READ@UNI campaign that has been launched by the Ministry of Higher Education in every university including UPM to improve the reading culture among staff. The program will be conducted on 18 April 2023 starting at 10.00 AM until 12.00 Noon which is located at the BKUPM Auditorium, online via Zoom Application and also Live FB BKUPM.

This program is implemented to invite more UPM citizens to listen to positive sharing from the books selected by the panel this time (Mr. Mohd Redzuan Zamberi, Head of the Career Counseling Section, BKUPM). Through this kind of sharing, it is hoped that the participants' interest in reading the shared books will be sparked, further creating excitement for reading and the reading culture will continue to thrive among UPM residents.

The total number of participants was 247 people which included 237 UPM staff, 4 students and 3 external participants. The impact of the program on the panelists is the spirit of sharing knowledge and appreciation of knowledge through the books that are read. While the program's impact on UPM residents is a love of knowledge, lifelong learning further increases positive motivation.

UPM Counselor Officer, Encik Mohamad Ashaari bin Awab, as the program coordinator, expressed his gratitude that the program this time ran smoothly and received a good response and evaluation from the participants. On average, the participants expressed their appreciation (through the evaluation form) thanks and hope for more programs like this to be conducted.
