UPM Serdang, 24 October – This Self-Wellbeing Inspiration program slot is an initiative of the Counseling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in introducing the services offered to UPM residents. A total of 12 Psychological Officers "went down to the field" to nine (9) residential colleges to convey awareness about the importance of maintaining good mental health and the urgency to seek early treatment for those in need. This program is conducted on 5 October 2023 Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm to nine residential colleges. This Self-Wellbeing Inspiration program slot is implemented to improve students' skills to identify verbal and non-verbal signs of individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Apart from that, giving students understanding skills to communicate with friends who have experienced trauma and emergency events. The target involvement of this program is 12 Psychological Officers and a total of 3250 UPM students. The impact of this program is to increase students' concern for mental health issues. Puan Kemelia Omar, Program Slot Coordinator stated "thankful that this slot was implemented successfully. The UPM Counseling Division hopes that all students understand and realize the importance of maintaining good mental health and immediately seek counseling services if there are problems throughout their studies at UPM . Hopefully the output of this program can be beneficial for UPM people and further wish that this program can be continued in the future.
