UPM Serdang, 22 June - The visit of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Benchmark to the Public Works Department (PWD) Malaysia is one of the effective training and approaches for the cultivation of uniform practices for the implementation of EKSA in the Counseling Division. This visit is the second visit since the EKSA practice was carried out in the Counseling Division. This shows a serious effort and commitment from all the members of the Counseling Division in order to obtain excellent certification in the Conducive Ecosystem of the Public Sector. This visit is conducted on 22 June 2023 from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM which is located at the Public Works Tower, Public Works Department Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur.

This Benchmark Visit is a precise effort for the members of the Counseling Division in cultivating the practice of EKSA with continuous support from the Head of the Counseling Division, Dr. Mazila Ghazali. This visit was welcomed by the Corporate Policy and Management Branch, CDPK at the Headquarters, Public Works Department. The Public Works Department is a choice as a place to visit because the Public Works Department has received an excellent recognition certificate for EKSA and EKSA DIY (Do-It-Yourself Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem) practices in Malaysia. A total of 12 people were involved in this visit, consisting of 9 psychological officers and 3 staff.

After spending half a day on the tour, all the tour participants were very excited and had various plans to implement in the Counseling Division. This shows that the sharing of visit experiences from the Public Works Department has a positive impact and hopefully it will continue to become a culture at the UPM Counseling Division.

The EKSA Support Committee of the UPM Counseling Division hopes that this benchmark visit can benefit the people of the UPM Counseling Division for the sharing of knowledge from the Malaysian Public Works Department and that the strengthening of the EKSA can continue along with raising the UPM EKSA Commitment Statement in support of the Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the UPM EKSA.
