Conflict Management in the Workplace

Conflicts or disagreements that occur between employees need to be resolved as soon as possible and it is not good to let it go on for a long time. Internal conflict that disrupts the well-being of the organization's work environment when there is no control and can damage the organization's productivity because the interaction and team communication between employees is not harmonious at work. The following are shared conflict management tips in the workplace;

1. Talk directly to the parties involved in the conflict. Don't let it drag on and talk about the conflict. If the conflict is allowed to drag on, it will disrupt the productivity of an organization.
2. Listen carefully to what is explained by each party involved and the listening party must not take sides.
3. Avoid blaming each other. Talk together to resolve the conflict. Blaming each other will harm both parties and even the conflict cannot be resolved.
4. Provide a comfortable and safe discussion space without interference from other parties.
5. Remember, the main goal of managing conflict is to resolve it and promote better relationships between employees.
6. Use the best approach in finding a solution, where both parties compromise and find mutually beneficial solutions.
7. Never underestimate the interests or views of others. Every view or opinion has its own value and should be taken seriously.
8. Finally, don't hesitate to involve management if necessary. They can help you and your team find the best solution that works.
