FINANCIAL PROBLEMS CAUSE OF DECREASE WORK PERFORMANCE

Author: Mohamad Ashaari bin Awab K.B,P.A

Financial problems can have a negative impact on a person's work performance in Malaysia. This is due to several factors such as psychological stress, economic instability, and difficulty in meeting the basic needs of life.
Employees who face financial problems usually feel stressed and anxious and can even interfere with their concentration at work. In addition, they may have to find additional jobs or work harder to make up for their lack of finances ultimately affecting work productivity.
Economic instability can also interfere with a person's work performance because bad economic conditions can cause companies to reduce production or lay off workers. This can cause uncertainty and anxiety in the workplace which can interfere with employee performance.
Finally, difficulties in meeting basic subsistence needs such as food, shelter and health care can be a significant disruption for workers. They may have to turn their attention away from their work to find a way to deal with their financial problems.
To deal with financial issues that affect work performance in Malaysia, it is important for employees to manage their finances wisely and consult with parties who can help them gain common sense in the issues at hand such as counselors, Credit Counseling and Management Agencies (AKPK) when necessary. The Company or organization can also help by providing financial support and resources such as providing employee welfare programs or training sessions related to financial management.
