Today, let’s learn the meaning behind the acronym K.I.N.D. - a guide to unlocking your leadership potential. Many university students often doubt whether they’re truly capable of leading. If you’ve ever asked yourself the same question, then this tip is for you.

KEMAHIRAN (SKILL)

K stands for Skill. Starting today, choose one specific skill you want to develop every semester during your studies. Master this skill to the point where you’re not only confident using it, but you’re also able to teach it to others.
For example, you might decide to work on your presentation skills. Seek guidance from a counselor, practice diligently and aim for proficiency. Once you reach that level, you’ve already begun building your personal brand - becoming someone others can turn to.

INTELEKTUAL/ILMU (INTELLECTUAL)

I stands for Intellectual. Make knowledge your best friend. Enrich yourself with useful insights, whether it’s related to your field of study, general knowledge, current events or technology.
As a student, your greatest asset is your intellect and the value of your ideas. Without knowledge or the habit of reading, you’ll constantly feel unsure of yourself.

NILAI (VALUES)

N stands for Values. Start developing strong values while you’re still on campus. Submit assignments on time, respect others’ time, embrace different opinions and uphold integrity in everything you do.
These values shape a strong sense of identity - essential for a true leader.

DIRI (SELF)

D stands for Self. Love yourself. Truly, your well-being is one of the greatest gifts from God. Taking care of your spiritual, emotional, physical and mental health is what creates a wholesome and balanced leader.
Pay attention to your diet, sleep quality, spiritual practices, appearance and regular exercise. These habits make you beautiful both inside and out.
