TIPS S.A.L.A.M

Is your association on the brink of collapse? Conflicts everywhere? When conflicts arise within an organization, you need to stay calm and relaxed. Always remember, every organization faces the same challenges. So, let's learn some easy tips on how to manage conflicts in an organization.

STATE
The first tip is to "state" the conflict that is happening. As a leader and member of the organization, you need to be brave and responsible in addressing the conflict. Acknowledging the conflict is the first step toward resolution.

ADMIT & AGREE
Each member of the organization must also be brave enough to admit that a conflict exists and agree to resolve it together. Ignoring or denying the conflict will only worsen relationships among members.

LISTEN & LEAD
Every member should be prepared to listen and lead the conflict towards a resolution. Allow each member to express their opinions and suggestions for solutions. Resolving conflicts in an organization is not just the responsibility of the leader; it requires collective action.

ADVISE
When offering advice, members must choose their words carefully, ensuring they are rational, not emotional. Providing constructive feedback and advice can help ease a tense atmosphere and create a more harmonious environment.

MUSYAWARAH (Consultation)
Members should also practice the method of musyawarah, or consultation, to resolve issues. This helps reduce disagreements or misunderstandings among members. Moreover, this method indirectly increases feelings of appreciation and belonging within the group.
This simple approach can go a long way in maintaining a positive and productive environment in any organization.
