Mental Health Check List

Feeling down or struggling with mental health is normal, especially with the harsh realities of the current world. It’s good to remember that you’re not alone and everyone feels down once in a while. Most importantly, you should know that if you do feel like you’re in a funk, you can try to get out of that feeling by doing a few simple steps. The steps of the mental health checklist can help boost your mental health and hopefully, make you feel a little bit better during the day. 

 

1. Have you had enough rest and eaten regularly?

First of all, ask yourself if you have had enough rest or eaten regularly. A healthy diet and ample rest are important for good mental health.

 

2. Have you taken a walk to breathe fresh air?

Next, you can breathe fresh air and take a walk because it can help improve your mood and emotions.

 

3. Have you connected to close friends or significant others?

Other than that, you have to connect to friends or significant others. This is because connecting with the people close to you can help remind you that you are not alone. 

 

4. Have you taken care of your hygiene?

Next, you should take care of your hygiene such as taking a shower or brushing your teeth. Sometimes, you can improve your emotions and raise your spirit by taking care of your hygiene.

 

5. Have you thought positive thoughts and praised yourself? 

Lastly, you have to think positive thoughts and praise yourself because positive thinking can lead to positive emotions.
