The FACT is, everyone needs peace. However, it is not easy to find peace in a life that is so challenging now from various aspects. Various factors that burden the emotional mind such as personal, economic, financial, learning, family, social and other factors destroy the peace itself. Seeing the need for calm is very important, we need to do various activities such as self-therapy to calm down and prepare to face any kind of difficulty well.
The meaning of 'PERSONAL THERAPY' is any activity or interest that can give us inner peace when doing it.
What is 'PERSONAL THERAPY'? In general, there are various ways of self-therapy. Among them through religious activities, activities with nature, performing hobbies such as cooking, cycling, painting, writing, reading, gardening, decorating the house, traveling, listening to music, watching videos and many more which give peace to individuals in their own way.
Can this THERAPY also be a HOBBY?
Yes, it is true, the habit of an individual's hobby is to do what he likes that gives him a sense of satisfaction and joy. As the same concept, therapy and hobby also have the same purpose, which is to create activities to give yourself space to calm down for a while before continuing with your daily activities and functionality.
The relation of self-therapy to emotional balance?
Emotions are strong feelings experienced by someone, or directed towards someone or something. Emotion also refers to a reaction to a person or event. Emotions can be shown when feeling happy about something, angry at someone, or afraid of something.
Emotions are related to a person's psychological status and feelings expressed through certain behaviors. Emotional feelings can be positive emotions (good emotions), and can be negative emotions (bad emotions). Bad emotions will give stress, on the other hand good emotions will give peace and happiness.
Calm makes our emotional condition good and gives full functionality to ourselves.
How does THERAPY function in controlling EMOTIONAL stability? We need to control our emotions in order to be able to control our thoughts, behavior and even life as a whole.
In a bad and stressful emotional situation, the THERAPY approach is very necessary so that we can stop for a moment from thinking about the problem and then CALM down, then be able to stabilize ourselves to think and move towards a solution.
Emotional stability is very important. Important for personal well-being, physical and mental health. It is important to take care of our functionality whether as parents, children, employees, employers and whatever our roles and responsibilities are.
The emotional state of an individual is closely related to the level of mental health. Emotions that are not good and are not well controlled will affect the pattern of thinking and behavior and subsequently disrupt mental health. Negative emotions may cause a person to experience overthinking, anxiety and will have an impact on mental health.
How about therapy for working individuals?
In trying to balance the needs of career, family and social interaction, the need to divide time for therapy activities and task needs is very important. Here is the function of therapy in 'self-recharge' which gives a momentary 'pause' phase to the mental and physical from the burdensome work. In addition, being able to give yourself space for 'me time' and come back full of enthusiasm.
SELF RECHARGE means there is an injection of SELF MOTIVATION. This parable is given specifically for each of us, whether STUDENTS, WORKERS, PARENTS or any role, so that we always give ourselves an injection of motivation after going through various daily activities in life.
In conclusion, as a human being, we need to take care of our entire functionality well and perfectly. In order to provide a quality life to yourself and others, selfcare is very important. Various aspects need to be balanced and well taken care of. Physical, Emotional, Spiritual and Intellectual need to be parallel. Human nature wants something perfect. RECHARGE yourself, do appropriate therapy activities to be able to give yourself better motivation so that you can contribute to yourself and others with better quality.
