1. Make friends with good people
A FRIEND is a loyal friend, can help when we are in trouble. Friends are also able to ease sadness, remove anxiety and are willing to fight for our good. Friends are people who can keep our secrets and shame. They will always protect us.
Lately we have seen that there are among them who are willing to do things that a true friend should not do. Among them are cheating, humiliating the personal affairs of their close friends, degrading their dignity and many other things so that some are willing to break the trust of their own friends.
How important it is to choose good friends that the Prophet said in his hadith: A believer is a mirror for another believer, and a believer is a brother for another believer; he helps him in times of trouble and takes care of him (defends him) from behind - [HR Abu Daud 4272]. Friendship is a very noble relationship, because friends play a role in shaping an individual's personality.
2. Sleep seven to nine hours a day
A study by the American Heart Association (AHA) found that getting enough sleep is linked to activities that are considered good for heart health. A long period of sleep is beneficial to one's cardiovascular health. According to cardiologists, the ideal sleep is between seven and eight hours every night. In the meantime, children are advised to sleep longer with individuals under the age of five recommended to sleep between 10 and 16 hours a day including during the day. People who don't get enough sleep are more at risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and obesity, the AHA says.
3. Eat a balanced diet
A balanced diet is a habit of choosing food to eat with the aim of improving or maintaining health. A balanced diet should contain nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and mineral salts in the right proportions. Lack of nutrients can cause malnutrition. Practicing a balanced diet is essential for the health of the body.
4. Avoid excessive negative news
Always filter what to read, see and share. It is best to take care of your own mental health, it is better to always be aware and try to avoid receiving negative news. This tip is very important so that our thoughts and minds are not strained. Fake news will also usually cause the spread of defamation that brings harm to individuals. Filter all the news and be careful in spreading it.
5. Exercise often
Exercise is an activity that is planned and performed repeatedly to maintain personal health and improve body fitness. Although these words are often used together, exercise and physical activity actually have different meanings.
Basically, exercise is an activity that will make you sweat, pant and increase your heart rate. In fact, the main purpose of exercise is also to be physically healthier. There are several types of exercise such as aerobic exercise, strength exercise, stretching exercise and balance exercise.
6. Think well of people
Kindness has many virtues and advantages. Among them so that the relationship of friendship and fraternity becomes better. When the heart is free from bad thoughts, then what is in the heart is a good thought. However, it should be remembered that good intentions need to be balanced with caution. Just as it is necessary to be kind, we also need to be careful so that the good nature is not exploited by interested people. Like to be reminded that we need to put ourselves like others. If we want people to be kind to us, we need to behave the same way as the old people.
7. Do something meaningful every day
Finding meaning in life is very important. It distinguishes us from other individuals when we know the meaning of our life. That will make us more enthusiastic every day and feeling impatient to live the day. But have we made our lives more meaningful? Of course everyone wants to have a meaningful life, useful for everyone and can do the best thing as long as we live in the world. Here's how to make life more meaningful. Among them, find out what is important to yourself, pursue what you are interested in, find the purpose of life and always do your best to live.
