According to the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Dictionary, "career" refers to a job or profession that needs to be chosen as a way to make a living. Therefore, a job is very important for a person because, with this job, he can support his life and enjoy the result of his sweat. Without a job, a person's life will be in a difficult and dead-end situation.

Nevertheless, choosing a career that suits your personality and abilities is very important because you work not for a temporary period but for a long period. Usually, the average human age is 65 years. If it's more, that's a bonus for you. Most people spend their lives working.

Imagine that from the age you finish school, which is in your 20s, until you reach the age of retirement, which is 60 years old, you spend 40 years working. If the first career you choose is not one you are interested in, imagine having to spend nearly 40 years in the workforce. If you choose the wrong career, then you drag your feet every day to go to work. the existence of the term "Monday Blues" every time after a weekend holiday, incidents of screaming, complaining every time you wake up, feeling rushed to go back every evening, and finally disrupting emotional well-being

If you're interested in what you're doing, there's no need to drag your feet to the office, create excuses not to go to work, and cheat the boss by taking MC at the clinic.

Choosing a career that suits you starts before your school days. Before deciding which college to attend, you should take some career tests or research your interests. That is why, beginning in elementary school, counselors emphasize the importance of taking the Career Inventory test.

Choosing the right career field not only makes you happier but also doesn't waste your time doing something you don't like. You're causing yourself problems and costing the company money. They have to pay you when your performance is decreasing day by day.
