UPM Serdang, 2 October – A competition that the employees of the UPM Counseling Division look forward to and is a step towards strengthening the Conducive Ecosystem of the Public Sector (EKSA) in the UPM Counseling Division. These are motivational words of encouragement for us UPM Counseling Division members informed by the EKSA Coordinator. The EKSA Cultural Practice Competition was held on 22 September 2023 at 10.00 am in the Meeting Room, upper floor, UPM Counseling Division. This program is a sign of enthusiasm and recognition for the winners in awareness and fostering the practice of strengthening EKSA in the UPM Counseling Division. A total of 18 people were involved, all from UPM's Counseling Division and the competition judge was an Administrative Officer at Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College UPM, Puan Siti Noriza Samad. Five (5) contested awards, first, the Best Workstation by ensuring the work space at the staff cubicle table follows the guidelines and displays the corporate. Second, the Best Room which is by showing the work space in the Officer's Room according to the guidelines and displaying the corporate. Third, EKSA's Most Creative Person In Charge, which is an employee who is creative in utilizing space and displaying the corporate image. Fourth, the Best EKSA Zones which are five (5) Zones in the Counseling Division Building under the supervision of the EKSA Zone Head comply with EKSA guidelines. Fifth, Best Go Green i.e. Employees who cultivate the practice of go green and saving resources creatively. The EKSA competition jury stated that the competition was very fierce because all the employees gave a high commitment, however there are some areas that need to be improved to improve the EKSA practice in the UPM Counseling Division. Thank you all for your spirited efforts to make the EKSA competition a success and congratulations to the winners. For information, the winner will be announced in December 2023 with a certificate of appreciation.
