Prayer has the ability to develop a noble personality and behavior. It is important and closely related to human life. Prayer has the potential to affect our daily lives by building good character and noble traits. A person who regularly performs prayers may be influenced by the act to behave in a respectful and dignified manner.
When performed consistently, prayer helps transform the soul from a bad state to a better one. It teaches patience, tranquility, good manners, and gentleness during the act. This practice can instill good behavior habits daily. Furthermore, prayer improves health and gives meaning to our lives.
READING THE QURAN
The benefits of reading the Quran, even just two pages a day, will allow us to gain more knowledge. The Quran contains much wisdom, and reading it regularly will benefit us. It can solve many life problems, bringing calmness and better health. Your vision sharpens, your heartbeat becomes more lively, and you experience life fully. Consistent practice also enhances happiness and improves character.
The Quran is the word of Allah, and by reading it, one can get closer to the Creator. Reading the Quran is considered an act of worship, and it will help its readers on the Day of Judgment, freeing them from hardship and suffering.
A person who performs iktikaf will receive continuous rewards as long as they stay in the mosque and receive Allah's mercy. This happens even if they sleep in the mosque while in itikaf. Imam Al-Bukhari mentioned that:
According to Abu Hurairah (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "When a person performs wudu perfectly and walks to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, every step they take will earn them rewards and erase a sin."
Angels pray for forgiveness for them if they perform itikaf in the mosque (with wudu) after prayer. They will continue to receive rewards as long as they await prayer in the mosque.
Performing and maintaining wudu (ablution) has many benefits. Among them, wudu is part of faith. It also erases sins. The greatest merit of maintaining wudu is that it can cleanse a person of sins. A hadith mentions that by performing complete wudu, sins are washed away as the water flows, even from beneath our nails.
Those who maintain their wudu will be rewarded with paradise by Allah. Keeping wudu also ensures good health and a state of purity. A Muslim who maintains their wudu, completes it, and increases their good deeds will have a radiant face on the Day of Judgment.
Charity in Islam has a very broad meaning. It can simply be defined as giving to others in need, to get closer to Allah. This can include giving to the poor, relatives, or for the benefit of a good cause.
Allah honors those who give charity. He promises many rewards for those who give. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
اليد العليا خير من اليد السÙلى
"The upper hand is better than the lower hand." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari).
This means that it is better to give than to receive.
One of the benefits of maintaining family ties is that it leads a person to enter paradise. This benefit is mentioned in a hadith where a Bedouin man asked the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) about actions that lead to paradise and away from hell. Islam places great emphasis on brotherhood and maintaining family bonds. Several hadiths highlight that those who break family ties will not enter paradise.
Allah loves and praises those who maintain family ties. Truly, it is noble for a servant of Allah to receive praise and recognition from Him, while it is unfortunate for those who incur His wrath.
