Everyone is born with their own uniqueness and strengths. This God-given uniqueness includes different ways of learning according to style and the suitability of various intelligences according to individual tendencies.

To answer this question, identify what problems you always face while studying. Does it involve memory? Poor concentration? Having trouble understanding what the lecturer is saying? From these identified problems, you can see a counselor to get tips and guidance to overcome the problems faced.

In addition, the counselor can also help you identify the learning style that suits you with the learning style inventory. When you know the appropriate learning style, the process of understanding, getting information, communication and learning will be better. Simply put, learning styles into four types, namely VARK, which are visual, auditory, reading/writing and kinesthetic.

Visual is a learning style by seeing. Individuals who are visually dominant will learn more easily with the help of pictures, infographics, text and colorful diagrams.

While Auditory is a learning style by listening. Individuals who are auditory dominant learn and remember facts more easily when they focus on listening to what the lecturer teaches. These individuals are also suitable for learning by reading aloud, talking to themselves and participating in group discussions.

In addition, there are also individuals who have a dominant learning style of reading and writing. This individual will need more time to read and make his own notes based on his understanding. Their advantage is being able to reproduce what was understood in written form during the exam.

No exception, kinesthetic learning style. Individuals who are kinesthetically dominant are full of energy and movement. Accordingly, this individual like to move while studying. An easy way for this group to understand something learned is to experience it themselves, do experiments, see movements, exchange learning places. They are encouraged to get up and move every 30 minutes to avoid boredom while studying.

For information, everyone does not necessarily have only one learning style that suits him. Some have 2 or 3 learning styles, based on the level of individual learning flexibility. There are also individuals who change their learning style along with their age and level of learning.

Hope it's useful and good luck!
