Of course, you can. Every human being is born equipped with the nature or feeling of shyness and courage. Shame is not a weak image and brave is not a strong image for someone. Both emotional potentials are needed in our daily lives. Without a sense of shame, human life has no limits while daring blindly will only lead to destruction.
So these two feelings need to be placed in the right place. As the saying goes, it is a shame to ask astray. As a student, feeling out of place will only harm their professional development. Imagine a student who is shy to make friends, interact in a group, do a presentation, this individual will surely drop out and even be labeled as a discordant monkey by his friends.
Courage can be developed and nurtured within. Among the exercises that can be done to increase courage is to do the following:
1. Change Self-Perception
Self-confidence is born with a thousand and one talents and unique potential. Avoid comparing yourself with the people around you.
2. Love Yourself
Give yourself positive and beautiful words as often as you can. Make it a daily routine for mind food. This will help form a more positive self-concept.
3. Identify Your Potential
Successfully polished self-potential will change the individual's perception of himself. This will increase confidence and courage.
