Today, I just stood at the windows and let my mind to wonder. Something popped in my mind. There's a lot of qur’anic verses that points out for us to look at the skies and birds, there's signs of God behind it. So, I started to ponder upon things that were right in front of my eyes. Honestly, I did not know in way is that a sign of God. I stared a little bit longer, still I couldn't find anything.

 

After a while, this popped in my mind. Okay, imagine anyone who’s close to you or someone who loves you is given an empty room and was asked to design the room for you. If that person were to design and put things in that room, each and everything in it must have reason why they put in the room at the first place. Either those things will make your life easier, things you like, things that comforts you or the things that can benefit you. The list can go on and on but one thing for sure is everything in it brings good to you.

 

So, I started to reflect this in nature. The scenario just now is someone who loves you designing room for you. Whatever love that person has for us in only tiny fraction of what the source of love has for us. The divine love, God, loves us more than we ourselves could even imagine of. He has placed me and you at the right place that that will bring good in us. It is amazing that the place that we are at is individualized just for ourselves. This includes whatever that is around us and within us. God knows the best of me so whatever lies in front of my eyes there's a solid reason behind it why I have to see it not someone else.

 

That might be the reason why we were asked to we ourselves to ponder upon what is around us. God could have just stated his signs in the Quran about the nature but he commanded us to ponder because for different people it means different thing, individualized specially for the souls that sees it. The heart comes out with the

 

thoughts and reflection that will put you into amazement. Doesn't that sound so special?

 

Later in the evening, I saw a bird sat on a tree, right beside me, chirping softly. I stared, it put me into a smile and somehow it brings a very calm sensation to my heart. I further had the thought that how amazing is this, God had written my fate that I should see the bird, I should experience the beauty of his creation which not everyone had been given that chance to. That shows His love upon us.

 

I learned something important. Whatever god had put in front of my eyes is something that can shape me into a better person, even if they are small. May God opens our eyes and our hearts to ponder upon things around us and shape us to be a better human being.
